Riding B.A.D.... Doing Good!
For the last 11 years, the last Sunday in May has been B.A.D. Ride day.
We look forward to welcoming all riders and their passengers, both returning
and new participants!
There are many reasons to join us on May 25, 2008. Here are just a few:
-
It is truly the Riders’ Ride! We do everything we can to ensure
that this day is about motorcycling.
- An
all new-route through the Halton Hills and up the Escarpment.
- Great
comfort stop at the Mohawk Inn.
- An
exciting end venue courtesy of our new sponsor partners: The Canadian
Warplane Heritage Museum and Hamilton International Airport.
- An
engaging afternoon entertainment package — lots to see and do!
-
Great Barbecue Luncheon.
- Let’s
not forget the Grand Prize draw: a Harley-Davidson 105th Anniversary
Limited Edition Sportster 1200C. This is one beautiful machine.
- ...
and more!
The
B.A.D. Ride (Bikers Against Despair) is the lifeline for Distress Centres,
ensuring that every individual in need receives life-sustaining emotional
support. More than a dozen times each and every day, telephone counsellors
provide support to someone who is considering suicide. Please know that
100% of the monies raised by riders goes directly to support the services
of Distress Centres. We thank you… There’s a life on
the line!
Your
support makes all the difference.
